EU General Data Protection Regulation
You value data security, and we do too.
What’s GDPR?
On May 25, 2018, the European Union began enforcing the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), intended to strengthen data security and data privacy for all EU citizens. The regulation gives individuals more transparency into and control over how companies store, use, and share their personal data.
Who’s accountable?
All businesses that transact with and collect data from EU citizens, regardless of whether they’re located within an EU member nation or elsewhere, must comply with GDPR. Even a small online retailer in the U.S. with minimal sales into the EU is accountable.
